Customer hands old coupon to smiling retail worker at a Bed Bath & Beyond store counter.
Bed Bath & Beyond is reigniting nostalgia and offering a significant prize with its “Legendary Coupon Hunt.” The company is encouraging customers across America to search their homes for the oldest surviving Bed Bath & Beyond coupon, with the chance to win a $100,000 home makeover.
The promotion, which runs until July 13, invites shoppers to bring any Bed Bath & Beyond coupon, regardless of its condition or expiration date, to participating Bed Bath & Beyond, The Container Store, and Kirkland’s Home locations. Each submitted coupon will be entered into a sweepstakes.
Amy Sullivan, president of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., highlighted the sentimental value customers have placed on these coupons over the years, stating, “For decades, our customers treated these coupons like treasure.” She added that the hunt is a way to celebrate the brand’s loyal customers and create a major customer event.
The grand prize winner will receive a $100,000 home transformation, utilizing products and services from Bed Bath & Beyond, The Container Store, Kirkland’s, Lumber Liquidators, and Cabinets To Go. In addition to the grand prize, 100 winners will receive $500 gift cards, and 50 winners will receive $100 gift cards.
This initiative by Bed Bath & Beyond, now led by CEO Marcus Lemonis, aims to engage customers and leverage the brand’s long-standing connection with consumers through its iconic coupons.
