Afghanistan has successfully garnered business agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) valued at over 1 billion U.S. dollars. These significant deals were finalized during business-to-business meetings and other sessions held alongside the nation’s fifth national and international industry and mining exhibition.
The agreements, forged between Afghan and international companies, underscore a growing interest in investment and industrial collaboration within Afghanistan. A key component of these new partnerships involves 10 MoUs between the Afghanistan Iron Smelting Association and a visiting Iranian trade delegation. These specific agreements are aimed at facilitating the supply of essential equipment and raw materials crucial for the development of Afghanistan’s burgeoning steel industry.
