Hemant Surgical Industries Limited announced a collaboration with GBT Korea Co., Ltd. from the Republic of Korea, effective April 2, 2026, aimed at advancing medical imaging technology. The “C-ARM Development and Supply Agreement” focuses on the localization of advanced medical imaging equipment.
The partnership will concentrate on three technological areas: the development and localization of X-ray generators, electronic control systems for medical imaging, and C-arm imaging devices that utilize fluoroscopy X-ray technology. These systems are engineered to deliver real-time, high-resolution imaging during critical surgical procedures, including orthopedic, trauma, and cardiovascular operations.
According to the regulatory filing, the agreement is structured as an “arms-length transaction,” ensuring no conflicts of interest through related party transactions, shareholding arrangements, or special rights provisions. Both companies have agreed to maintain confidentiality regarding the financial details of the agreement.
This strategic alliance is poised to enhance Hemant Surgical Industries’ technological capabilities within the medical imaging sector. It is also expected to bolster its position in the Indian surgical equipment manufacturing market by introducing advanced fluoroscopy technology to India.
