Malbon Golf is partnering with Garage Beer, owned by NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce, for activations during the Masters Tournament. The collaboration brings together golf apparel and a light beer brand, aiming to enhance the social and lifestyle aspects of golf culture.
The partnership will feature Garage Beer’s 95-calorie light beer at Malbon Home events throughout the Masters week. Attendees can also enjoy limited-edition cigars and co-branded pin flags.
Jay McDonald, Vice President of Marketing for Garage Beer, emphasized the natural fit between the two brands, noting that “Golf’s supposed to be fun, and beer’s always been part of that… It’s a day outside with the crew, cold ones in hand and gear that brings real style to the course.”
Malbon Golf, founded in 2017 by Stephen and Erica Malbon, seeks to inject individuality and a more relaxed vibe into the sport. The brand has attracted a diverse following, including rappers, skateboarders, and PGA Tour players like Jason Day.
The collaboration extends beyond the Masters Tournament, with Garage Beer and Malbon planning joint appearances at Malbon Home activations, Bucket Cup events, and Sip & Shop retail experiences. These events will center around community engagement and content creation.
Malbon’s broader mission is to encourage younger generations to engage with golf, and partnering with high-profile figures like the Kelce brothers could broaden the sport’s appeal.
