Freshly served Chick-fil-A Mac & Cheese Kids Meal with milk and fruit cup
Chick-fil-A has launched its first-ever non-chicken entrée for its Kids Meal menu nationwide, featuring a Mac & Cheese Kids Meal. This new offering allows younger diners to choose macaroni and cheese as their main dish, moving beyond the traditional chicken nuggets and strips.
The Mac & Cheese Kids Meal includes a medium portion of the chain’s popular macaroni and cheese, which is made with a blend of Parmesan, cheddar, and Romano cheeses and baked daily. Customers have the option to add bacon for an additional charge. Alongside the entrée, the meal comes with a side item – choices include Waffle Potato Fries, Waffle Potato Chips, a fruit cup, or applesauce – and a drink. Beverage options range from white or chocolate milk and Honest Kids Apple Juice to Simply Orange, bottled water, or upgraded fountain and frozen drinks.
This strategic move by Chick-fil-A aims to broaden its appeal to children who may not always opt for chicken-based meals. Macaroni and cheese has consistently been one of the chain’s most popular side dishes, and its introduction as a standalone Kids Meal entrée reflects a growing demand for diverse options in the fast-food market.
In addition to the new food item, Chick-fil-A is also rolling out a new collection of Kids Meal prizes at select locations. These prizes are inspired by the company’s well-known cow mascot and include items like a Clip a Cow keychain, Cow Kart cardboard racers, Hasbro Cow Games, and a Cow Case featuring one of six foldable games.
The Mac & Cheese Kids Meal is now available at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants across the United States. Toy availability may vary by location.
