Canadian Solar has appointed Dylan Marx as the new CEO of its project development subsidiary, Recurrent Energy. The leadership change is effective July 6, 2026.
Marx is a seasoned executive within Canadian Solar, having been with the company since 2013. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer since December 2025 and previously held the position of President of Operations and Maintenance at Recurrent Energy.
He succeeds Ismael Guerrero, who is stepping down as CEO but will continue to contribute as a non-executive advisor until December 31, 2026.
Colin Parkin, CEO of Canadian Solar, expressed confidence in Marx’s appointment, citing his extensive operational knowledge of Recurrent Energy, global perspective, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
