Om Power Transmission has announced a major win, securing a turnkey contract valued at ₹82.17 crores from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited. This significant order involves the conversion of existing 11 kV High Tension (HT) Line and Low Tension (LT) Line networks, including consumer service lines, into a modern Underground Cable Network featuring a Ring Main System. The project is slated for the Kaliabid Subdivision (Part-2) within the Bhavnagar Circle.
The execution of this domestic contract is projected to span 18 months, with a commencement period of 45 days following the official Notice of Award. This development is a notable achievement for Om Power Transmission, which currently holds a market capitalization of ₹580 crores. The company’s successful bid for this project further solidifies its standing in the competitive power transmission sector.
According to the disclosure made to the exchanges, the contract details align with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The project underscores a strategic move towards modernizing power infrastructure and enhancing reliability in the region.
