The numbers are staggering, as per reports. In 2024 alone, these crypto scams have reportedly siphoned off around $9 billion from Americans. And the focus, according to officials, is on the most vulnerable: older citizens, many of whom are targeted relentlessly.
The details are still emerging, but the picture is becoming clearer. This isn’t just about a few rogue actors; it’s a coordinated effort, a network. The Strike Force, it appears, will be going after the infrastructure, the money trails, the whole operation. It’s about time, in a way.
