Abu Dhabi is currently hosting ADIPEC 2025, the world’s premier energy event. The conference, which commenced on Monday, will run until November 6th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The 2025 edition of ADIPEC is particularly significant. It also showcases the expansion of smart solutions and technologies designed to accelerate global progress. Over 205,000 visitors from more than 172 countries are expected to attend the event, organized by ADNOC. There will also be 2,250 exhibiting companies and 1,800 speakers, including leaders from industry, investment, innovation, and policy-making sectors. They will explore opportunities and accelerate the development and application of solutions that shape the future of the energy sector.

Among the prominent speakers confirmed are Haitham Al Ghais, Secretary General of OPEC; Nathaniel Liminski, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources; Joseph Sghair, Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water; and Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Other key figures include Lorenzo Simonelli, Chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes; Dayi Huailing, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation; Dr. Guy Diedrich, Chief Innovation Officer at Cisco; and Claudio Descalzi, CEO of Eni. - The Merlin ROV electric diver robot from IK M Subsea, with a diving capability of up to 3000 meters, considered one of the most controllable and efficient vehicles on the market.
- Sky Shine service by Data Bridge, utilizing autonomous drones equipped with AI and LiDAR to safely and efficiently clean building facades and solar panels.
- The LEEDS low-energy water desalination system from Bechtel, which converts high-salinity water into reusable clean water.
- The ProveZero and Minerva platforms from CleanConnect.ai, considered the world’s smartest methane emission detection systems, with instant documentation via blockchain technology.
