The Saudi Professional League delivered a weekend of unforgettable drama, headlined by Cristiano Ronaldo’s heroics for Al-Nassr and a stunning comeback by Al-Ittihad. These matches, part of the seventh round, showcased the league’s competitive spirit and provided fans with plenty to cheer about.
Ronaldo’s Late Winner for Al-Nassr
Al-Nassr, led by star forward Cristiano Ronaldo, secured a hard-fought victory against Al-Fayha at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh. Despite playing with ten men from the 32nd minute after Fabinho received a red card, Al-Ittihad managed to claw their way back from a 4-0 deficit to secure a 4-4 draw.
Al-Khaleej initially took a commanding lead with goals from Joshua King (14th minute) and Konstantinos Fortounis (18th minute), followed by a penalty converted by Fortounis (37th minute). This remarkable result saw Al-Ittihad move to 11 points, placing them in eighth position, just behind Al-Khaleej on goal difference.

In other matches, Al-Taawoun continued their impressive form, defeating Al-Qadsiah with goals from Waleed Al-Ahmad (57th minute) and Angelo Fulgini (66th minute). Their victory propelled them to second place with 18 points, one point ahead of Al-Hilal.
