Saudi Arabia to Host Hajj Conference & Expo: A Global Showcase
Saudi Arabia is gearing up to host the 5th Hajj Conference and Exhibition, a significant event organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. This year’s conference, held at the Jeddah Super Dome from November 9th to 12th, will be under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. This event is a pivotal platform for highlighting the Kingdom’s dedication to advancing the Hajj system.
A Gathering of Experts and Innovations
The conference will bring together a diverse array of specialists, experts, and relevant bodies from both Saudi Arabia and abroad. Their collective goal is to share knowledge, showcase best practices, and unveil cutting-edge technologies. This collaborative environment aims to enhance the quality of services provided to the pilgrims. The event’s organization aligns with the Saudi government’s ongoing efforts to improve the Hajj system’s efficiency across operational, organizational, and technological fronts. These improvements are crucial to accommodate the increasing number of pilgrims and their diverse needs, thereby ensuring a secure, seamless, and sustainable pilgrimage experience.
Extensive Exhibition and Diverse Participation
Spanning over 52,000 square meters, the conference will feature more than 260 exhibitors from 13 key sectors, including tourism, technology, and healthcare services. It will host over 95 international speakers and experts, who will present more than 100 innovative ideas through 80 discussion sessions and 60 workshops. The event anticipates over 150,000 visitors from across the Kingdom and beyond. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will showcase its initiatives, including ‘Eaashat Thoun’ for flexible and personalized meals, ‘Ansat Al-Mashaer’ to create more comfortable environments, and sustainable solutions focused on clean energy and smart cooling technologies. Furthermore, the Innovation Zone will host over 15 tech startups participating in field challenges to improve crowd management using artificial intelligence and data analysis.
Strategic Partnerships and Future Goals
During the event, several agreements and strategic partnerships will be signed to promote collaboration in digitalization, system integration, and service quality enhancement within the holy sites. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Guests of God Service Program. The conference will emphasize digital transformation, smart management, and operational sustainability as key factors in improving the Hajj system’s flexibility and efficiency.
