Alessio Giuffra, AFRY's EMEA Renewables & Energy Storage Head.
AFRY, a European leader in engineering and advisory services, has strategically appointed Alessio Giuffra as its new Vice President and Head of Renewables & Energy Storage for the EMEA region. This move underscores AFRY’s intensified commitment to accelerating the energy transition across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Giuffra brings over 24 years of international experience in renewable energy, power, engineering, and business leadership. His tenure at AFRY spans more than 15 years, during which he held key leadership roles, including Managing Director of its Italian and Azerbaijan branches. Before this, Giuffra also served in senior capacities at Pöyry Italy and Pöyry Energy, building a robust foundation in the sector. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Genoa.
This appointment positions Giuffra to spearhead the expansion of AFRY’s already market-leading renewables and energy storage business.
